July 2021 features chef Sandy Ho, founder of Sandita’s. The now LA-based private chef and food stylist uses local and sustainable ingredients to create food filled with joy, nostalgia, and color. Raised in Australia, she graduated with a degree in Fine Arts before discovering how her deep connection to family and art are rooted in the kitchen.
From artist to cook, this leap of faith paved way for opportunities in restaurants and eventually a 2.5 year adventure sailing and cooking around the world. With a love for bringing communities together over a meal, she is committed to making foods that connect and honor her life experiences and Vietnamese heritage.
